Booking
A deposit of £95.00 per person is required to secure your booking and is payable by cheque to: Global Touring UK Ltd. Global Touring UK Ltd will confirm your booking by post when this is received. By signing and returning the booking form and deposit it is agreed that you are accepting Global Touring UK Ltd terms and conditions.

Payment of Balance
On receipt of a completed booking form and deposit, Global Touring UK Ltd will send a booking confirmation and invoice to you which must be paid in full by cheque a maximum of 60 days before you travel, otherwise your tour reservation will be cancelled. Bookings 60 days prior to departure will be accepted only with full payment. Only those who have paid in full will be allowed to take part in the tour.

Protection of your money
The 1992 Package Travel, Package Holiday and Package Tours Regulations require all holiday organizers to make provision for the protection of holidaymakers’ money in the event of the company’s insolvency. In accordance with the regulations Global Touring UK Ltd will hold all clients’ money in a trust account until such time as your tour is completed.

Insurance
On all tours it is a condition of booking that you will organise adequate breakdown and recovery insurance which will include repatriation of yourself, passengers and of your motorcycle. You are also required to take out additional Medical Insurance and to obtain the new European Health Insurance Card which replaces the old E111 and is available free via the Post Office.This European Health Insurance Card covers the majority of medical fees in EC countries but not repatriation costs. If Global Touring UK Ltd changes you’re booking.
It is sometimes necessary or unavoidable to change your booking. In the case of any major alteration Global Touring UK Ltd will notify you as soon as possible before your departure date. In the event of a significant change (i.e. point of departure, date of departure, destination or any event which may reduce the quality of the tour) you may, continue with the tour, accept an alternative tour or if you decide to cancel your booking, all monies paid by you will be refunded in full. Global Touring UK Ltd cannot be held liable for any compensation or expenses arising from the change in your booking. Once the tour has commenced Global Touring UK Ltd reserves the right to alter routes and accommodation at short notice due to circumstances beyond our control. In this situation Global Touring UK Ltd will notify you as soon as possible.  Where accommodation has to be changed Global Touring UK Ltd will provide accommodation of at least the same standard.

If Global Touring UK Ltd cancels you’re booking.
Global Touring UK Ltd reserves the right, in any circumstances, to cancel your booking and will notify you as soon as possible before your departure date and will at this time refund all monies paid. Should the cancellation be due to the minimum number of places not being reached we will offer you a comparable alternative tour or a full refund as per the above.

Delays in the Journey
In the event of extended delays, Global Touring UK Ltd will endeavour to secure an alternative crossing. Global Touring UK Ltd cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen delays caused by: war, civil unrest, industrial action, blockades, failure of hoteliers, ferry operators or other suppliers. Global Touring UK Ltd cannot be held liable for any compensation or expenses arising from the delay in your tour. In the case of any delays you are responsible for providing your own meals and additional accommodation.

Passport and Visa Requirements
A valid UK passport valued for a minimum six months after your return is required for visiting EC countries. If you or your passenger holds any other passport a visa may be required and you should contact the appropriate office before travelling. Tour members who cancel or cannot participate in any tour due to appropriate documentation not being obtained shall remain liable for full payment of the cost of the tour subject to your rights of cancellation set out in these terms.

Tour Member Responsibility
Riders are responsible for their own machines including mechanical or accident repairs. They are also responsible at all times for any passengers/pillion travelling with them.
Any accident, bodily injury, illness or death to rider or pillion during your tour is not the responsibility of Global Touring UK Ltd.

Tour Price
The tour price will not be subject to a surcharge save that resulting from Government action affecting transportation cost and/or currency fluctuations. Such circumstances are beyond our control and as such may dictate an increase in the cost of the tour. Any increase less than 2% will be absorbed within the original published price. Global Touring UK reserves the right to introduce a proportionate surcharge for increases larger than this. If as a result of the surcharge the increase is more than 10% of the stated tour price you will be given the option to cancel your booking and receive a full refund.

If for any reason a participant decides to leave the tour before the end he/she will not be refunded. Furthermore Global Touring UK Ltd will not be responsible for any associated cost incurred.

Cancellation Fees
If you cancel your booking following confirmation, Global Touring UK Ltd reserve the right to withhold the deposit/tour payment in part for costs incurred.
More than 60 days before departure:  Loss of deposit
60 – 30 days    50% of tour
30 – 15 days    75% of tour
Less than 15 days before departure  No Refund
All cancellations must be received IN WRITING and sent to: Global Touring UK Ltd, PO Box 525, Chorley, PR6 6EW.

Transfer/Change of Booking
If you are prevented from travelling for any reason you may transfer the booking to another person providing a minimum of 2 weeks notice is given. All amendments to the original booking could be subject to an additional administration charge.  

Global Touring UK Ltd Responsibilities
Global Touring UK Ltd makes every effort to ensure that the suppliers of the services which you will receive during your tour are efficient, reliable and reputable. Global Touring UK cannot be held responsible for any part of the tour which due to outside influences does not meet the standard described in the tour brochure (e.g. hotel lifts, swimming pools, etc) these amenities being unavailable due to service, repair, weather conditions etc.
Global Touring UK Ltd cannot be held responsible for death, bodily injury or illness caused by activities engaged in, which are outside the scope of the tour itinerary.

Use and Limitations of Support Vehicle
The support vehicle is provided in good faith. Global Touring UK Ltd cannot be held responsible should the vehicle become unavailable due to mechanical failure, vandalism, theft, impoundment, or any other unforeseen event. Luggage is carried free of charge at the discretion of Global Touring UK Ltd. Any luggage carried will be at the sole risk of the owner and Global Touring UK cannot be held responsible for loss or damage whilst carried in the support vehicle. Global Touring UK Ltd cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to contents caused due to searches by authorised bodies. Tour participants are responsible for carrying essential items with them (passports, money, medication etc.). Global Touring UK Ltd cannot be held responsible for late arrival of luggage and personal items should the support vehicle divert to a breakdown incident or due to other circumstances as per any of the above.

Complaints Procedure
Complaints should be made in the first instance to the tour guide or support staff.
