ITALY - The Dolomite Mountains - TOUR 810

The Dolomite mountains are without doubt one of the premium motorcycling regions in Europe. Point your bike in any direction and you are on some of the best roads you will ever experience.
The roads that twist and turn through endless valleys and peaks will leave you breathless.
The scenery as you weave your way around the Passo di Falzarego which rises to 2105 metres will have you grinning all the way with its combination of hairpins, medium fast sweepers and some long straights to clear the mind.
Our tour starts as we cross from Dover to Calais on the early morning ferry. Our well travelled route takes us through northern France to our overnight stay in the Ardennes forest.
Our hotel is located in a small medieval town whose skyline is dominated by the imposing Castle Godefroid. With a fantastic restaurant and bar it is the perfect way to start your tour.

Some great roads lie ahead of us today as we continue through the Ardennes and cross the Rhine River into the Black Forest region of Germany.
Be prepared to be impressed as we ride a section of the famous B500, rated as one of the best motorcycling roads in Europe. In the evening we enjoy our four course dinner in a traditional family run hotel located deep in the forest.
Day three and we ride further south to our luxury four star hotel in Austria with swimming pool, sauna, steam room and great atmosphere this really is one of the highlights of any of our tours. En route we take in more of the Black Forest, follow the shoreline of Lake Constance and get our first glimpse of the Alps.
We then continue our journey towards our final destination over the fantastic Timmelsjoch Pass. For the next five nights we enjoy Italian style cooking at its very best in the heart of the Dolomites.
Our chosen hotel is equipped with indoor swimming pool, steam room and sauna as well as secure underground parking and bike wash facilities.
Over the four days you are welcome to relax, take one of the numerous cable cars to the top of the mountains or join us on our ride outs which include the brilliant Passo di Giau, Passo San Pellegrino, Passo di Fedáia and many more.
By the time we leave the Dolomites you have ridden all the main passes of the area. The Dolomites are simply amazing and are guaranteed to take your breath away.
Our return is no less exciting as we ride through Bavaria and the Mosel regions of Germany before taking the Euro Tunnel back to the UK.
